THE WAY OF THE CROSS
Adelaide, South Australia, 2012

Picture
A Musical Broadway show devoting the honour of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The images below display my role as Makeup Director depicting Jesus (played by actor, Andrew Crispe) been crucified.
The theatre company did not allow liquid makeup to illustrate the blood of Christ, so I had to improvise with red latex jelly, red matte body paint and clear glisten latex for that 3D effect.  Base colours used on Andrew Crispe was carefully altered to work with lighting.
SFX (Special Effects) capturing the creativity and detail, knowing exactly how I wanted to portray and bring to life the physical agony and suffering of Jesus Christ.
This was very challenging but rewarding.
